Halloween on Roblox is not one event. Each game runs its own, on its own dates, and Roblox sometimes adds a platform-wide event on top. Below is what the developers themselves have posted on their game pages as of October 10, 2026, with the content maturity label Roblox shows for each game.
Is there a Roblox-wide Halloween event in 2026?
Not yet. As of October 10, Roblox has not posted a 2026 Halloween announcement in its newsroom.
For context, Roblox’s newsroom describes the 2025 version, the Halloween Spotlight, as running from October 23 to November 3, 2025, with more than 30 games taking part. Players completed quests inside those games to earn runes and keys that opened paths to avatar items. A 2026 event may follow a similar pattern, but nothing about it is confirmed.
One Halloween item is already back. The Headless Horseman bundle, sold by Roblox on the Marketplace, is on sale for 31,000 Robux, and its page shows no off-sale date. That is a lot of Robux, so it is a good moment to check your family’s spending limits.

A few details from the developers’ own event notes:
- Evade says its Halloween event brings back several returning maps with new cosmetics, emotes and quests.
- Fisch calls FischFright its annual limited Halloween event, now running for a third time.
- Dandy’s World lists two limited-time Halloween floors and a Haunted Gala floor event in its current version notes.
- DOORS has only posted the name and dates of The Candy Vault so far, with “more info soon.”
- Brookhaven RP has posted only a short teaser (“Trick or Treat!”). See our Brookhaven Halloween update page for what is known.
How to get reminders without third-party sites
You do not need a tracker site or a Discord server to follow these dates.
- Open the game’s page in the Roblox app or on roblox.com.
- Scroll to Events. Each event shows its start time in your local time zone.
- Tap Notify Me to get a reminder when it starts.
Sticking to the game page also keeps kids away from “event leak” videos and sites that push fake codes or downloads.
What the maturity labels mean during Halloween
Roblox’s help center describes four content maturity labels. Minimal games may contain occasional mild violence and occasional mild fear. Mild games may contain repeated mild violence and repeated mild fear. Moderate games may contain moderate violence and moderate fear. Restricted games are only for age-checked users 18 and over.
Halloween updates usually change the decorations, not the label. A cozy game like Dress To Impress or Fisch adds costumes and pumpkins. A horror game like DOORS, Piggy or Dandy’s World adds more of the scares it already has. If your child is sensitive to jump scares, our Roblox horror games guide explains what each popular one is like.
A parent note on spending and scams
- Limited-time items push quick buying. Event shops often sell items for Robux that leave when the event ends. Our spending limits guide shows how to set a monthly cap.
- No event gives Robux. Pages that promise Robux for a “Halloween code” are scams, as explained in why Robux generators are scams.
- Events bring crowds. Busy servers mean more chat with strangers. Review chat settings in our Roblox parents’ guide.
If your child is new to the forest survival game everyone is talking about, start with our 99 Nights in the Forest guide.

Frequently asked questions
Has Roblox announced its own Halloween event for 2026?
Not as of October 10, 2026. Roblox's newsroom has no 2026 Halloween post yet. In 2025, Roblox ran a Halloween Spotlight from October 23 to November 3 with more than 30 games.
Where can I see the exact start time of a game's Halloween event?
Open the game's page on roblox.com or in the Roblox app and look at the Events section. Developers post the start and end times there, and a Notify Me button sends a reminder.
Do Halloween events give free Robux?
No. Events give in-game items, skins or badges. Any site or video promising Robux for an event, a code or a survey is a scam.
Are Halloween events scary for young kids?
It depends on the game. A fashion or fishing game adds pumpkins and costumes, while horror games add more of what they already have. Check the maturity label and descriptors on each game page.
