Grow a Garden Codes: How to Redeem and Where to Find New Ones
Updated 2026-10-06 · 3 min read
Grow a Garden became one of the biggest games on Roblox by keeping things simple: buy seeds, plant them, harvest, sell, repeat. Its page notes that your garden keeps growing while you’re offline. Codes add the occasional extra, usually tied to an event, but they come and go quickly.
Here’s how codes work in Grow a Garden, how to redeem them, and where the real ones are posted.
Current codes: our policy
We only list a code when we can find it on the developers’ own channel, dated within the last 60 days. Code roundup sites often carry codes that died weeks ago, so we don’t treat them as a source.
As of this update we have not listed specific codes. The steps below show where to get them directly, which is always the most up-to-date option.
How Grow a Garden codes work
Codes are short words or phrases the developers release, often to celebrate an event, a milestone or an update. Each one unlocks a reward picked by the developers, which might be:
- A cosmetic item for your garden.
- Seeds or other items to help your garden along.
- A small event-related extra.
Rewards stay inside Grow a Garden. They don’t carry over to other games and they never include Robux.
How to redeem a code in Grow a Garden
- Open Grow a Garden from the Roblox app or roblox.com and load into your garden.
- Open the Settings menu (the gear icon; in recent versions it sits near the top-left of the screen).
- Scroll to the codes section.
- Type or paste the code into the text box exactly as written.
- Press the claim button and check for the confirmation message.
If the codes section isn’t where you expect, the menu may have moved in an update. Look through the settings panel or the game’s latest update notes.
Where to find new codes
The game’s Roblox page lists the creator as The Garden Game, and the game updates often. These are the reliable places to watch:
| Source | How to get there | Why it’s useful |
|---|---|---|
| Game page on Roblox | Search “Grow a Garden” on roblox.com | Update notes and event news in the description |
| The Garden Game group | Click the creator name on the game page | Announcements from the team |
| The game’s community server and socials | Linked from the game page or group | Where codes usually drop first |
Get to social and community links from the game page itself, not from search results or comments. Copycat accounts with near-identical names push fake giveaways.
Fake code offers to avoid
Popular games attract scams, and Grow a Garden’s rare pets and seeds make it a big target. Red flags:
- “Code for a free ultra-rare pet.” If it promises the rarest items in the game, it’s bait.
- Robux in exchange for anything. Roblox says there is no such thing as free Robux, and every offer of it is a scam. More in our guide to free-Robux scams.
- “Enter your username and password to get the code.” Real codes are typed into the game, never traded for your login.
- Survey or app-download “unlocks.” The code never shows up; the page owner just gets paid.
- Trade pressure. A stranger offering a rare pet if you join a different server or visit a site first is setting up a scam.
If anyone in the house already typed a password on one of those pages, use our account security checklist.
Tips for younger gardeners
- Grow a Garden has trading and chat, so it’s worth reviewing chat settings with our parents’ guide.
- Spending in the game uses Robux. A monthly spending limit on the parent account prevents surprises.
- Codes and in-game rewards are a fine way to progress without spending anything at all.
More codes and guides
- Blox Fruits codes follow the same in-game pattern.
- Roblox promo codes are redeemed on roblox.com, not inside a game.

Frequently asked questions
Who publishes Grow a Garden codes?
The game's developers. On Roblox the game is listed under The Garden Game group, and codes are announced through the game's own community channels, usually during events or updates.
Can I use a Grow a Garden code more than once?
Generally no. Codes are meant to be redeemed once per account, so a second try on the same account won't give the reward again.
Why didn't my Grow a Garden code work?
It has most likely expired, or there is a typo. Copy it exactly as posted, including capital letters, and check that it came from the developers' own channel.
Do Grow a Garden codes give rare pets or Robux?
Real codes give whatever the developers chose, often a cosmetic or seed. They never give Robux, and offers of rare pets in exchange for your login are scams.
